S14-Powered 1991 BMW 318is 5-Speed

This striking 1991 BMW 318is is a showcase of German engineering and enthusiast-driven modification. Initially manufactured as a 2-door sedan with a 4-cylinder engine, this vehicle has seen significant enhancements over the years. Around 2013, it was transformed with the addition of an S14 inline-four engine, paired with a rugged Getrag 265 five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential for improved handling. The engine and transmission underwent further rebuilding in 2016 to ensure peak performance, while the exterior received an M-Tech II-style body kit and was fitted with 17" Apex ARC-8 wheels along with H&R springs, lowering its stance even further. Despite these modifications, the vehicle retains its original characteristics as a classic E30 3-series coupe, finishing in black over black upholstery.
