Meyers Manx

The Meyers Manx is a unique American sport utility truck introduced in 1963 by Bruce Meyer. This hand-built vehicle is recognized for its distinctive dune-buggy style, featuring a fiberglass body with an open-air cabin and no doors or roof. It's based on the Volkswagen Beetle chassis but has custom bodywork inspired by the California beach buggies of the era. The Meyers Manx is powered by a rear-mounted air-cooled engine and comes in various configurations, including two-seater (Manx II) and four-seater (Manx SR) versions.
