Modified Volkswagen Beetle
What we know:
Volkswagen

This striking 1956 Volkswagen Beetle was once a bare-bones project but has undergone extensive restoration since its acquisition in 2016. Now painted in Guards Red over black vinyl and red cloth, this modified Beetle stands tall on Colorado roads with dual rear wheels and wears a unique body design featuring a rounded nose reminiscent of early Beetles, while retaining distinctive oval windows from the transitional period. Powering this rare find is an air-cooled 1776cc flat-four engine mated to a Freeway Flyer four-speed transaxle on a 1974 IRS pan, providing both vintage charm and modern driveability.
