The vehicle in question is a unique 1957 Corvette, manufactured during the early years of Chevrolet's iconic sports car. This model is distinguished by its Rochester Fuel Injection System, the only one produced in that year with this feature. Originally from the United States, specifically Lakeway, Texas, this rare mechanical fuel injection system was manufactured by Rochester Products of New York. Although it was acquired as a spare approximately ten years ago and rebuilt afterward, it has never been installed on a car. It comes equipped with an intake manifold and a distinctive finned aluminum plenum.
