1977 Volkswagen Type 2 Ambulance

This vintage Volkswagen Type 2, manufactured in 1977 and originally used as an ambulance by the German Red Cross in Birkenau until 1996, now resides in Denver, Colorado. Painted in beige over gray vinyl, it was imported to the US in 1997 after spending time in California and Wyoming before being purchased by its current owner in 2021.
