27-Years-Owned 1966 Gar Wood Industries TD-4595 Aircraft Tug

Owned for nearly three decades in the same Missouri town and now offered for sale on Bring a Trailer is an unusual and highly specialized vehicle from 1966. This is a Gar Wood Industries TD-4595 Aircraft Tug, originally manufactured under contract to the U.S. Marine Corps for military use. It was acquired by its current owner in 1996 and has resided at One Hundred and One Ranch in Missouri since. Finished in gray with multicoulor cloth and vinyl upholstery, this aircraft tug is powered by a 159ci Detroit Diesel Series 53 three-cylinder diesel engine mated to a two-speed hydraulic transmission.
