1960 FMR Tg500

This unique classic vehicle is a 1960 FMR Tg500 Messerschmitt, one of approximately 320 ever produced. Manufactured in Germany, it was acquired by the current owner in San Diego, California, USA, in 2011, reportedly from The Bruce Weiner Microcar Museum. Finished in red with red vinyl upholstery, this rare microcar features a distinctive transparent bubble canopy and is powered by an air-cooled 494cc two-stroke twin engine mated to a four-speed manual transmission. It rolls on classic 10-inch wheels, adding to its retro charm.
