This 1962 Triumph Spitfire Mk 1 is a historic race car, originally manufactured in the United Kingdom and currently residing in Santa Rosa, California. Built by Rocketdyne engineers Paul Coffman and Johnny Holland for SCCA G-Production competition during the 1960s, this British automotive icon boasts an impressive racing history with 32 documented starts between 1971 and 1978, including three class wins and 20 podium finishes. Following its last race in 1978, the car was stored until recently being reintroduced for enthusiast appreciation.
