No Reserve: Mobil Pegasus Sign

The 2015 Mobil Pegasus Sign is a one-of-a-kind vehicle, notably designed to resemble a giant gas pump nozzle sprouting wings and a set of wheels. Manufactured by Mobil as a promotional concept car, it features a striking yellow and red color scheme reminiscent of classic Mobil service station signs. Standing tall at 25 feet in length and nearly 10 feet wide, the Pegasus Sign boasts a unique design made possible with aluminum body panels over an aluminum alloy frame. Its distinctive characteristics include functional wing mirrors, LED lighting throughout for visibility after dark, and an unusual set of tires – six 48-inch-width Michelin Tweel airless tires on each side. Despite its imposing appearance and lack of engine or steering, the Pegasus Sign remains mobile, towed by a support vehicle during promotional events due to its immense size.
