1956 BMW R50

The 1956 BMW R50, a timeless classic manufactured near the end of BMW's post-war racing era, exhibits distinctive characteristics such as its opposed twin engine displacing 494cc and a four-speed transmission. Finished in Avus Black, this motorcycle underwent international travels before landing in Bend, Oregon. Originally acquired in Switzerland during an owner's European tour in 1970, it was imported to the United States where it remained until its acquisition by the current seller in 2020.
