This Porsche Type 616/2 Engine, originally destined for a 1958 Porsche 356A 1600S, was meticulously rebuilt by Steve Schmidt of Rennwagen Motor Company in Costa Mesa, California. Mechanically enhanced to displace 1.7-liters with custom JE domed pistons and a 356B-specification 50mm crankshaft, this historic Porsche engine is now ready to ignite passion under the hood once again.
