The vehicle in question is a vintage Sachs-Powered Rickshaw, manufactured circa 1964 by Safeway Industries of Taipei, Taiwan. This distinctive motorized pedicab was imported to the United States and maintains its classic charm despite being over half a century old. It features a black leather driver's seat that has been re-covered recently, along with numerous other maintenance efforts such as rebuilding the carburetor and cleaning the fuel tank, all completed by its current owner who acquired it in 2020. Despite its age, this Safeway rickshaw is still fully functional and ready to make its way through the streets.
