This vintage motorcycle is a 1948 Indian Chief, manufactured during the 1940s era in the United States. It was acquired by its current owner in Portland, Oregon in 1996 and has since received mechanical refurbishments such as a Ken Edmiston rebuilt 74ci V-twin engine and a rebuild of the hand-shifted three-speed transmission in 2001. It also sports a red repaint by Terry's Body Shop during this time, showcasing its distinctive look on the road.
