This classic 1956 Willys CJ-5, originally manufactured in Kalamazoo, Michigan, has spent its entire 67-year life in the United States. Initially purchased by the seller's spouse in Tennessee back in March of 1973, this distinctive Jeep underwent a thorough refurbishment between 2004 and 2007. The body was stripped and repainted in its original olive drab finish, while the original 134ci F-head inline four engine was rebuilt to its former glory. Characterized by a fold-down windshield and blackout lights for nighttime operation, this CJ-5 retains many of its early features, making it a true vintage find accompanied by a custom-built, matching olive-drab trailer to extend its functionality beyond the road less traveled.
