1967 Griffith 600
The 1967 Griffith 600 is a distinctive British-American sports car produced between 1964 and 1969. This model is part of the second generation of Griffith cars, manufactured by Günter Hankel's International Motor Racing Corporation in conjunction with Aston Martin. As the first vehicle to be designed by American sports car designer Tom Tjaarda for European production, it is notable for its unique blend of transatlantic influences. With a sleek body made predominantly of fiberglass and powered by an inline-six Ford Cleveland engine capable of producing 280 horsepower, the Griffith 600 offers a thrilling driving experience. One of the car's most distinctive features is its rear-end styling, which bears similarities to Tjaarda's later designs for De Tomaso. This iconic vehicle is instantly recognizable on the road today, thanks in part to its role as the personal transport of James Bond in the 1968 film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service."
