The vehicle is a classic 1953 DKW F89 Meisterklasse, a standout example of the first post-World War II passenger car produced by Auto Union. Manufactured in East Germany's former Nazi-era Audi plant, this vintage masterpiece is powered by a compact yet robust 684cc two-stroke twin engine mated to a four-speed manual transmission. Currently located in Thousand Oaks, California, this rare find has been part of a private museum collection since around 2015 and was previously auctioned on Bring A Trailer in late 2020.
