The 2006 Ford Mustang coupe, originally a Class 1 passenger car with a suggested gross vehicle weight of up to 6,000 lbs (2,722 kg), has been converted into a race-ready machine. Powered by a Coyote 5.0L V8 engine producing around 460 horsepower in its stock form, this six-speed manual transmission-equipped Mustang is designed for high-performance driving experiences. Manufactured at the Flat Rock, Michigan plant in April of 2006, it retains its original Ford Mustang identity with only minor modifications to transform into a thrilling race car.
