1958 BMW Isetta 300

The 1958 BMW Isetta 300, originally manufactured in Germany and now based in Encinitas, California, is a unique and distinctive vehicle. First hitting the roads nearly seven decades ago, this vintage gem showcases its historic roots with an air-cooled 298cc single-cylinder engine coupled to a four-speed manual transaxle. The Isetta stands out visually due to its distinctive shape and compact size, measuring only around eight feet in length. Despite its small footprint, it offers practicality via features like a sliding fabric sunroof for added headroom and a chrome luggage rack for baggage-carrying convenience. Inside, the Isetta treats its occupants to a retro ambiance with replacement yellow and black upholstery on the bench seat. This classic piece of automotive history was recently refinished in a bright yellow hue before being acquired by the current owner through Bring A Trailer earlier this year.
