Meyers Manx
What we know:
Meyers Manx

The Meyers Manx is a unique, distinctive hot rod dune buggy manufactured from 1964 to 1972, created by designer Bruce Myers. Based on the Volkswagen Beetle's chassis and mechanics but with a fiberglass body shaped like a dune buggy, this vehicle is instantly recognizable for its round headlights integrated into the front aprons, giving it an unmistakable appeal. Measuring 163 inches in length and 70 inches in width, it weighs approximately 1450 lbs., with a wheelbase of 92 inches borrowed from the Beetle. The Manx is powered by a rear-mounted, air-cooled 4-cylinder engine producing around 65 horsepower, coupled to a 4-speed manual transmission. With its tall stance and wide tires, it's designed for off-road adventures and beach cruising.
