Porsche 356 Pre-A Type 519 Transaxle Case

This is a rare find for Porsche enthusiasts: A Porsche 356 Pre-A Type 519 transaxle case, manufactured by Volkswagen in 1952 and believed to have been originally intended for use in a 356 Pre-A model. Discovered at a swap meet in Turlock, California, this two-piece case bears visible production markings and identifying numbers. It comes with an intermediate plate and a single-mount magnesium nose cone, complemented by a rubber seal. The transaxle case is in excellent condition, showcasing its distinctive design that's emblematic of the early Porsche sportscars.
